I’ve been in your shoes. Whether you’re still working your corporate job and scratching out business ideas on blank sheets of paper on your weekends or you’re working in the trenches every waking hour, building your business from the ground up and looking for resources to guide your next move. From an early age, I was always the creative problem solver in the group, and all throughout my career, the focus has been on the development of people, processes, and solutions that propel organizations beyond challenges. The results being increased client and employee engagement.
A majority of my time at University was learning Accounting and Management Information Systems. Couple that with the execution of seven start-ups in the last 20 years, and assisting hundreds of businesses, leaders, and entrepreneurs worldwide has significantly contributed to my abilities in developing strategic planning, finance, operations, business development & sales, marketing, external partnerships, and branding within organizations throughout many industries.
The last 20+ years of has been littered with working with start-ups and growing organizations in chaos. A few went around the block a dozen times, before being merged into a more significant partner. Many have gone the distance, and continue to thrive. And some have failed, with a couple of epic failures in there. All provided significant lessons.
More recently, I was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of a startup in the Life Sciences industry. A data-intensive asset management firm focused on saving laboratories millions of dollars per year. We quickly disrupted a mature services sector through the implementation of comprehensive cost-saving strategies supported by data reporting & analysis. I was excited to be leading the global development of services we delivered to hi-risk pharmaceutical and biotech laboratories. It included the design and facilitation of comprehensive professional development curriculum for teams located throughout the United States, United Kingdom, and the European Union.
Today, I take all the collected knowledge and experiences to provide consulting programs and workshops focusing on decision making, process improvement, services integration, business development, client retention, and employee engagement.
